Ensure BMC FW release 2.89 or later is pre-installed before attempting this FRU/SDR update. 2. Copy all of the files and directories in the D50TNP_FRUSDR_0.44.zip archive to a USB key, hard disk drive or floppy drive. 3. Execute the following script to bring up the main FRU/SDR load menu: updD50TNP.nsh 4. Select Option 1 to do the SDR update. 5. Answer the prompts, and the SDRs will be loaded ============================================================================= KNOWN ISSUES/WORKAROUNDS ============================================================================= BMC behavior might be inconsistent up to 2 minutes after loading the firmware update. Initially, the BMCs were manufactured with an older style, SHA1 private key. This release causes the BMC to update its keys at first power on, and correct some known issues. This process takes about 2 minutes the first time it is run, and will lead to inconsistent behavior immediately following a firmware update. Waiting for 2 minutes will allow the BMC procedure to complete successfully. Once this is successful, you will not see this issue again. TennesseePass power on boards came with no FRU programmed, which causes fru loading to fail. You must load an intial FRU manually before the FRUSDR package can successfully load a fru. This is done with the /fru flag on sysfwupdt.efi ============================================================================= ISSUES FIXED ============================================================================= 0.44: - [Utility] Upgrade utility to 16.0.7 - Change sensor name of sensor 0x20 "ADDDC Error" -> "ADDDC VLS Event" - [Utility] Upgrade utility to 16.0.6 0.42: - Correct 'OS event' sensor number and owner ID - [Utility] Upgrade utility to 16.0.3 - Enter OS and inject UCE, there are many unexpected log for 'OEM timestamped' and 'Event type 6f, offset 1' generated. - The FRUSDR file and EWS copyright is not correctly 0.40: - Add "Fan Redundancy" sensor (0x0C). - Add fan redundancy map. - Add records of domain 5 ~ 7 in advanced fan failure sub-record. - Update sysfwupdt utility version into v15.0.3 - Fix sensor number error: 'BIOS Evt Sensor' : sensor number 10 -> 83 'OOB FM update' : sensor number 83 -> 73 'OOB BIOS config' : sensor number 83 -> 73 - Add ITK SDR infomation: sensor number: 1B 0.38: - No change, only update FW version. 0.37: - Modify OEM record for all voltage sensors to fix voltage fault issue. 0.36: - Add BIOS sensor "ADDDC Error" for HSD1509138536 - Add new PDB fru file "PDB_FCXXPDBACCL.fru" - Update sysfwupdt utility version into v14.2 build 11 0.35: - update sysfwupdt utility version into v14.2 build 10 ============================================================================= FEATURES ADDED ============================================================================= - None [END OF RELEASE NOTES]
