Readme file for SHG2 Server Board BIOS Flash Repair Utility

To check and repair the SHG2 BIOS Flash Component, do the following:

1. Copy SHG2_FIX.EXE to a bootable floppy.

2. Boot the system off the floppy with the BIOS write protect jumper  
   (CN27 pins 1-2) NOT installed.

3. Run SHG2_FIX.EXE.  It will check whether or not the BIOS Flash part
   is configured correctly.

4. If the BIOS Flash part is misconfigured, power down, and install a 
   jumper onto the the BIOS Write Protect jumper block (CN27 pins 1-2).

5. Boot the system off the floppy.  Run SHG2_FIX.EXE.  It will fix the 
   BIOS Flash part and display a message when complete.

6. Power down and remove the jumper (CN27 pins 1-2).

7. The flash part can be verified by Flashing the BIOS using iFlash 
   and/or re-running SHG2_FIX.EXE.
