The following files are included: SCSIMP.EXE Windows NT4.0 SCSI Miniport Diskette Creator readme.txt This file The following files are included in the self-extracting disk image (SCSIMP.EXE): i2omp.sys version 4.01 iirmptag oemsetup.inf txtsetup.oem Installation ============ The I2O SCSI Miniport is used during the Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 setup process to allow installation of the OS to a drive or volume connected to an I2O RAID controller. 1. Download the I2O SCSI Miniport driver package called NT4_MP.EXE and save it to disk. 2. Double-click on the file NT4_MP.EXE and extract the files to an EMPTY directory. The directory C:\NT4_MP is selected by default. 3. Run the included executable file (SCSIMP.EXE) on and Windows NT or Windows ‘9x system to create the Windows NT4.0 SCSI Miniport Diskette (requires floppy diskette). 4. When running NT Setup from a bootable CD, press F6 while as soon as the blue setup screen appears. If running setup from Windows NT Installation floppy diskettes, there is no need to press F6. 5. After device detection has completed, press S to select additional storage devices, then select Other. 6. Insert the I2O SCSI Miniport driver diskette, select the I2O Miniport driver, and continue with NT installation. NOTE: This driver is only to be used for the NT installation process.
