These files support the following Intel products: *Intel Server RAID Controller U3-1L Low Profile (SRCU31L) Contents ======== The UW_HBA.EXE self extracting ZIP file package includes the Host Bus Adapter (HBA) for for SCO UnixWare 7.1. This is the driver used (only) durring installation of UnixWare 7.1 to a RAID Volume or pass-through drive. The following files are included in UW_HBA.EXE: SCO_HBA.EXE UnixWare 7.1 HBA Diskette Creator readme.txt This file Installation ============ 1. Execute UW_HBA.EXE to extract the files listed above. 2. Run the included executable file (SCO_HBA.EXE) on and Windows NT or Windows ‘9x system to create the UnixWare HBA diskette (requires floppy diskette). 3. Install the UnixWare 7.1 OS using the install instruction provided in UnixWare 7 Installation Guide manual. 4. The UnixWare installation process will prompt you to install a Host Bus Adapter diskette. At that time insert the Unix HBA diskette. NOTE: Do NOT install NIS - During the installation of UnixWare, you will be prompted to install the Network Information Services (NIS) package. When prompted defer the installation of NIS by pressing F8 on the NIS configuration screen. If you decide at a later time to install NIS, you can do so using the pkgadd(1) command.
