Contents

The lnx_util.tar archive includes the packages necessary to install the IIR-Linux distribution.

The "install.sh" shell script installs the following Utility packages:

Linux Kernel Sources			Version 2.2.16
IRVIEW					Version 0.7
RAID Configuration Services		Version 0.9


Installation
============
1.  Download "lnx_util.tar" and copy it to the target system.
2.  Change to the directory into which you downloaded the above file.
3.  Unpack the archive using the command "tar -xf lnx_util.tar".
4.  Make the script executable using the command "chmod 500 install.sh".
5.  Execute "./install.sh".
6.  Follow the on-screen instructions.
7.  Once the installation is finished, you may delete the files that you downloaded.
8.  Please read the documentation located in "/opt/iir/docs".
